Fitnah, not THE VEST, lifes real trials AND MY RESPONSE TO CERTAIN RECENT ACTIONS

Two weeks ago at Talim (Sunday class at one of the mosques i attend) we discussed a particular ayat (verse of the Holy Qu’ran) which talked about burdens.

You know, i nicknamed, The Vest, fitnah or trial to be looked at as a burden. But actually, the vest is a tool that i chose to use. It is not a burden placed on me by Allah (SWT). God only places burdens on me that i can bare IF I AM RIGHTEOUS. People seem to always quote that first part but never seem to quite own up to the mandatory prerequisite.

Holy Qu’ran 007.042

But those who believe and work righteousness,- no burden do We place on
any soul, but that which it can bear,- they will be Companions of the Garden,
therein to dwell (for ever).

There are things going on in my life that are in fact burdens, the details of which really aren’t important (not that i have a problem sharing or some resharing with those of you in “Khalifahland” who frequently visit our blog but they are unneccessary), that i have come to grips with and have accepted.

See there are several, mostly related things going on with my life some of which are even DIRECTLY related to this mission that are in fact difficult.  There has been some outside interference in how we accept and GIVE 100% of our donations to children’s causes (which incidentally, I personally have ABSOLUTELY, nor desire to ANY. I repeat ANY, ANY, ANY participation with AND DO NOT ACCEPT OUTSIDE CONTRIBUTION FOR SELF EVEN AS RETURN FOR OUR EXPENSES TO MAKE THIS A REALITY). This as a result of some certain persons’ one-sided judgement of myself in reference to a previous relationship.

As you well know my islamic name is “Siddiq” which has the same root as “sadaqa” and it is no coincidence WHY that is the name i chose or WHY we’re doing what we are doing.

SADAQA ( VOLUNTARY CHARITY )

        Definition :

        —————–

Sadaqa comes from the word : sadaqa : to be truthful. The noun is Sidq; Sadaqa is derived from Sidq meaning that the person is giving charity to help the poor and needy confirming his true devotion and service to Allah.

1-   To help those who need our help is a sign of belief in Allah and confirms that we understand our accountability to Him

2-   This Sadaqa may be money; or our effort or a kind word; or not harming others

3-   There are certain guidelines in giving Sadaqa

4-   The rewards of Sadaqa is great

5-   Giving Sadaqa is a characteristic of Allah’s righteous servants.

Giving Sadaqa confirms our belief in Allah

I WILL NOT be denied or discouraged by anyone’s attempt to prevent me from doing what is required by the deen (teachings) of Islam in THIS or any other issue. IF YOU CHOSE TO SELECTIVELY PRACTICE YOUR RELIGION AS CONVIENIENT, THAT IS YOUR CHOICE, BUT DON’T TRY TO HAVE ME FOLLOW IN YOUR FOOTSTEPS NOW OR QUITE POSSIBLY IN THE FUTURE (WHEN THERE’S NO TURNING BACK).

Holy Qu’ran Yusuf Ali Translation
Surah 109. The Disbelievers, Atheists
1. Say : O ye that reject Faith!
2. I worship not that which ye worship,
3. Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
4. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to   worship,
5. Nor will ye worship that which I worship.

6. To you be your Way, and to me mine.

LET ME BE 100% CLEAR.  IT IS OUR ATTEMPT TO PLEASE ALLAH (SWT) BY PERFORMING SADAQA AS MANDATED BY OUR RELIGION, (IN THIS CASE BY HELPING CHILDREN).

  * NOT TO PLEASE PEOPLE, “MUSLIM” OR OTHERWISE.

* NOT TO PLEASE OR ACCOMODATE FAMILY (IMMEDIATE, EXTENDED, IN-LAW OR OTHERWISE).

* NOT TO PLEASE ORGANIZATIONS.

* ALLAHU-AKBAR!!!!!!!!! NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT EVEN TO PLEASE SELF.

Either you are part of the problem or part of the solution.  Either you are on the side of good or you reject that (and attempt to qualify those TRYING to good) or you are not. THERE IS NO GREY AREA.

THOSE WHO BELIEVE AND WORK RIGHTEOUSNESS

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON ?
